
Produce at high speed
The HSM 600, 600U and 800 ProdMod represent a high speed machine line for use in production. The HSM tried and tested basic machine is used as the base which captivates by virtue of its dynamics, compactness, version variety and ergonomics. ProdMod's configuration additionally offers a tool storage tower which is scaleable for 120, 170 or 220 tool positions. A machine cover with chip rinsing nozzles as well as different configurations with regard to chip conveyors and coolant preparation systems. In addition to the Mikron pallet changers there is also an interface available for connecting other robots.
Compact positioning of tools
The tool storage is constructed as a circular suspended shelf. As such it is scaleable in almost any way. In the standard version there are 120,170 and 220 tool positions. Due to the separation of the central gripper and the transfer handling there is a short changeover time. Thanks to the "double tool handling", changeover times of less than 3 sec. are achieved, the chip-to-chip time is approximately 5 sec. It is loaded from the outside using a practical lock door.
Fully integrated pallet changer
Pallet chuck instead of T-slot tables as well as the pallet changer as the standard option represent the basis of intelligent automation. Different versions and configurations are available. The clamping systems can be chosen from amongst
3R-Dynafix, Erowa UPC and Mecatool GPS 240. A standardised robot interface is also available for other robots.
Chip conveyor for all applications
The Mikron chip conveyor concept has a modular construction and can be adapted individually to ensure that both large volumes of chips and complicated chips such as needle chips, broken chips, light metal chips with a tendency to float and even chip particles are reliably removed. A belt filter system with actively cooled 620 l Tank for the preparation and filtering of cooling lubricant is also available. For inner coolant supply there is a version whereby both the pressure and the volume flow can be controlled.
