MACH 2010: GF AgieCharmilles demonstrates the difference its technologies can make
Visitors to MACH 2010 in Birmingham, UK got a close-up look at how difference GF AgieCharmilles technologies the success of their business. The Group’s new laser ablation LASER products, high-performance and high-speed machining centers, and advanced EDM solutions were showcased at the June 7–11 event.
GF AgieCharmilles showed six machines at MACH 2010, including a machine from its recently-launched LASER range.
GF AgieCharmilles Milling products shown were two Mikron five-axis machining centers: the ever-popular, large capacity high-performance (HPM) 800U, and—making its UK debut—a new high-speed (HSM) 400U LP machine equipped with linear drives.
The two wire EDM machines exhibited on the booth were the CUT 20P, the fastest-selling wire EDM machine in its class in the market and now equipped with additional productivity features, and the FI 440CCs, a high-precision, super-fast and remarkable reliable EDM product equipped with CleanCut digital generator technology.
The spark erosion EDM machine also showcased on the GF AgieCharmilles booth was the FO 350 SP equipped with iQ zero wear technology.
GF AgieCharmilles’ MACH 2010 machine tool lineup was completed by the LASER 1000, the new five-axis laser ablation machine first unveiled to the world at EMO 2009.
