Joined GF AgieCharmilles in 2000. Head of the Mikron division until 2004. Head of Technology Unit Milling and Head of Marketing and Sales Support from 2005 to 2008. Chairman of the Milling Machine business unit and member of the Group management of the Mikron Technology Group, Biel, Switzerland, from 1996 to 2000; Head of Donau Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH, Langenau, Germany, from 1995 to 1996; Chief Executive Officer of Maho Graziano Spa., Italy, from 1990 to 1994; Assistant to the Management Board of Maho, Germany, from 1989 to 1990; consolidation accountant at Schlumberger Technical Services Inc., London, from 1988 to 1989. Studied mechanical engineering at Munich Technical University (D); studied business administration at the Universities of Munich (D) and Mannheim (D); graduated in Business Administration. President of the “Machine tools and manufacturing technology” division of SWISSMEM (Association of the Swiss engineering, electrical and metal industry); Member of the Board of CECIMO (European Committee for Cooperation of the Machine Tool Industries)
Rudolf Beck

Joined GF AgieCharmilles in 1999. Was Head of Human Resources at Sandoz/Novartis, Pharmaceuticals, Basel, from 1994 to 1999; worked for Saurer Textil Systeme, Arbon, Switzerland, from 1991 to 1994.From 1988 to 1990 he was Head of the General Secretariat of Motor Columbus AG, Baden, Switzerland; worked for Studied psychology and educational psychology at the Universities of Berne and Nottingham (MEd), and holds a PhD from the University of Zurich.
Jan Bergwall
Head of System 3R (since 2006)
Swedish citizen, born 1954
Joined System 3R International in 1982. After assignments in engineering and development he moved into marketing (1989-98) and as of 1994 in addition directed the Robot Division, later the Standard Division and has been responsible for the Automation & System Division since 1999. In 2004 he was in charge of System 3R in the USA before becoming Head of System 3R Europe and CEO ad interim shortly after in 2006. Before joining System 3R he worked several years for Philips Electronics Industries in Järfälla as Production Engineer in metal cutting as well as in metal sheet working, welding, surface treatment. He holds a Master of Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Mauro Fontana
Chief Financial Officer (since 2004)

Mauro Fontana has been Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for finance and controlling at GF AgieCharmilles since 2004. From 1997 to 2004, he was Group Treasurer and Head of Investor Relations at the Georg Fischer Corporation and also the General Secretary of Agie Charmilles Holding Ltd. Prior to this appointment, he was General Secretary of Agie Holding Ltd from 1995 to 1997. From 1988 to 1995 he was General Secretary of Saurer and held several posts in finance. He was employed by the fiduciary company Fidinam, Lugano, Switzerland, from 1984 to 1988. Mauro Fontana studied business management at the University of Zurich.
Bernhard Iseli

Before joining GF AgieCharmilles he was Managing Director of Remp AG, Oberdiessbach (i.e. Executive Committee member of Tecan Group) from 2005 – 2008, and COO of Remp AG from 2000 – 2005. Managing Director of Mikron Comp-Tec AG, Nidau (today part of GF AgieCharmilles) from 1999 – 2002. Head of Production of Mathys AG, Bettlach from 1997 - 1999. Before, he held different management positions in general development and production areas of Studer AG, Thun, Ascom, and Ascom Gfeller, Bern. Graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Business Engineering in Switzerland.
Jean-Pierre Wilmes
Head of Sales & Marketing (since September 2008)
French citizen, born 1946
Joined Charmilles in 1972 and held various posts there before becoming Head of Market Region Europe South & Americas in 2005 to 2008. These included Head of Sales Region Europe South in 1998, Managing Director of Charmilles Technologies SA, Geneva, from 1996 to 1998; Manager of Sales Regions Europe, South America and the CIS for Charmilles from 1994 to 1996; Regional Head of Charmilles in France, Spain, Portugal and the UK from 1992 to 1994; Managing Director of Charmilles France from 1980 to 1992; and Head of Sales at Charmilles France from 1976 to 1980. Studied at the Institut Universitaire de Technologie in Creil and at the Institut de Contrôle de Gestion in Paris.
