The success of GF AgieCharmilles is based on responsible cooperation in a climate of mutual trust and respect, as well as the advancement of its employees. GF AgieCharmilles took further steps in this direction through continuing professional development activities, employee involvement, and appropriate communication.

Service Academy

GF AgieCharmilles' Service Academy – an internal training organization – has since 2001 been providing employees with specialized training in service, sales, administration and management. In 2006, practically 70 percent of all management personnel of GF AgieCharmilles participated in intensive courses held under the auspices of the Service Academy Managerial Leadership Training (MLT) program. The sessions centered on elements of successful human resource management, communication, and team work. Since the Service Academy began its work in November 2001, around 4,500 participants have attended specialized training on a diverse range of topics, including technical subjects, customer service, management, sales, and service.

The challenge of a global environment

With 40 different nationalities at 50 sites throughout the world, working for GF AgieCharmilles is a truly international experience. Being able to build bridges between the different cultures and mentalities therefore not only represents a real challenge to the professional, linguistic and communication skills of every single one but is also a key success factor - an exciting challenge for people who embrace change.
